Not enough variety - everything was the same from vendor to vendor - prices varied somewhat, but mostly fixed. Liked getting the free bag, tho. Need more mineral and gem vendors - appreciated the findings which were more plentiful than Santa Monica.

In 1967, Herbert A. Duke, Sr., founded the first commercial gem and jewelry show to sell directly to the public. From these humble beginnings, the International Gem & Jewelry Shows were created. With nearly 100 shows yearly in more than 35 major U.S. cities, they now produce the largest exhibition of gems, minerals and jewelry in the world. More than half a million people pass through this world famous bazaar each year.
