Totally incredible in every respect, from the musicians to the crooners to the beautiful and historic theater and surprisingly fine acoustics. Two solid hours of top notch jazz at bargain prices, not to be missed should they offer other performances ahead.Written on May 30 2010

Gorgeous theater and great acoustics for live music! The Pasadena Jazz Orchestra was terrific and energetic. Please make this a regular performance spot for them. I would buy a subscription to a season!Written on May 31 2010

The music brought back many fond memories (the theme from Peter Gunn in particular). I liked the relaxed style of the concert and the musicians were very talented. I'll have to drop by the Jazz Institute to hear more. This was a wonderful use of the Playhouse.Written on Jun 04 2010
