We had a wonderful time! This is a great band that plays a variety of classical and contemporary Mexican music. Plus, they do a lot of their own tunes that have very meaningful lyrics. They even got us out of our seats to dance! It was a very good evening.Written on May 13 2008

Quetzal is a wonderfully talented, unique, positive group, wonderful personality and interaction with the audience. They get the audience up and dancing. There were various artists displaying and selling art, clothing,CDs, etc. in the courtyard before the concert. The Playhouse is well run; ALTHOUGH, they need to replace/repair/adjust the microphones on the vocalists - was a little fuzzy both for Andy Garcia and the two main vocalists. And the weirdest thing - the stage was actually slanted slightly forward/down, don't know what that was about, looks to be on some sort of support where they can do that, but don't know why - irrelevant, I know, but the musicians were confused too.Written on May 13 2008
