This is a very interesting one woman play about a day in the life of Ann Landers. Mimi Kennedy is just terrific and the 2 hour show is never dull.

Brilliantly performed, with warmth, wit and humor by Mimi Kennedy. The Pasadena Playhouse staging captured all the right touches, even down to Ann Landers owl collection, and "Gone With the Wind" on her bookcase, simply marvelous sets and design. As usual Goldstar arranged for fantastic seats. A grand afternoon was had by all, including my two daughters ages 11 and 14.

I did not realize that this was a one-woman show. That said, Mimi Kennedy does a reasonably decent job given the poor script. There was some funny lines. But, they were fleeting. For the most part this was a dull play that caused me to squirm in my seat and wish for it to be over so I could leave.
