Liked the Jazz. Mel Torme's son cleared the room as he neither had any talent or connected with the songs. We didn't see the final act we left after Mr. Torme bombed. Renee Olmstead was very good although the announcer didn't manage to give us her last name.

The highlight was the Charlie Brown christmas and the jazz set for us.

This was a wonderful event. The music was very well received by the audience. From the start the kids from the Jass Institute put on a great show, the music only progress upward from there into the final song. The Gold Star people sitting at my table were so "Cool" I will be back next year.

The event was very different this year than it was in years past. The sound was not clear, which for a Jazz show is significant. One of the singers did not button his bottom button, tuck his shirt in, or wear an undershirt, and so the entire evening was distracted by his belly. The Nutcracker and Charlie Brown sections were outstanding, if the night were only those two, and the sound were figured out, then it would have been wonderful.
