view more less of this reviewLoved the displays, live presentations and annimation. Appreciated the viewpoints and explanations. I found myself saying, "I never thought of it that way, it makes perfect sense," and I have been reading and teaching Genesis for 40 years and reading the Bible for at least 65 years. Definately wear your walking shoes and take advantage of all the resting places where you can linger, watch and read if you relish the detail. If you are a big picture kind of person you can move faster and get an overview of the story. Elizabeth's Story, a live presentation, was a little wordy and could have moved faster to hold the interest of some younger visitors.
star this review starred report as inappropriateIt's hard to write a review for this place because I have to admit that I am not a fan of this sort of religious evangelism and the place is really a black eye for Kentucky. That being said, the displays are well done, especially the dioramas. You can tell that a lot of planning and design have gone into this place. Unfortunately the place seems to be a money pit for unsuspecting families. The normal admission is exorbitant and that doesn't even include the planetarium which adds an additional cost to the ticket. Also, I am always wary of any place that tries to herd me into getting my picture taken. In this day of ubiquitous digital cameras, does this ploy even make money anymore? The science here is shaky at best. If you are expecting an in depth exploration of the arguments for creation, you will need to buy one of the books in the gift shop. This place is just a pop up Sunday school book. One of the things that puzzled me was the area devoted to a compatriot of Billy Graham who rejected god and turned to atheism later in life. A hidden message of truth?

My kids enjoyed everything and I am sure we will go again in the future. Special note: The "Men in White" presentation is something that you should not miss!!

There is a petting zoo, camel rides, planetarium. Live snake and other reptile show. Plenty to keep you busy all day and entertaining for kids and adults.

About the Ticket Supplier: Creation Museum
The state-of-the-art 70,000 square foot museum brings the pages of the Bible to life, casting its characters and animals in dynamic form and placing them in familiar settings. Adam and Eve live in the Garden of Eden. Children play and dinosaurs roam near Eden's Rivers. The serpent coils cunningly in the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Majestic murals, great masterpieces brimming with pulsating colors and details, provide a backdrop for many of the settings.
