The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia welcomes featured guest soloist Sara Sant'Ambrogio for this program of works by Sibelius, Schuman and Beethoven. The Grammy Award-winning cellist and founding member of the Eroica Trio has been profiled in such magazines as Strings, Glamour, Gramophone, Vogue, Elle, In Fashion, Bon Appetit, Detour, Travel and Leisure, Fanfare and Swing. She's the winner of the International Tchaikovsky Violoncello Competition, the all-Juilliard Schumann Cello Concerto Competition and the Naumburg Award. She'll play Schumann's Cello Concerto in A minor in a program that also features Sibelius' Valse Triste (Sad Waltz) No. 1 and Beethoven's spirited and vivacious Symphony No. 7.
