The Franklin Institute was very interesting. The Pompeii exhibit was definitely worth seeing, and the other aspects of the museum were nice additions. The Planetarium is very much targeted toward children 15 and under, but it was interesting...continued

This was great for me and my other friend who is also a mom. We really enjoyed the history behind everything and were very interested in reading every detail on everything. Our kids on the otherhand were happy to be in a new environment,...continued

Beautiful everyday and decorative objects excavated from the ruins are displayed in rooms that evoke the feel of a Pompeiian villa. Lovely exhibit.

Upon entering the gates of Pompeii I was amazed to see that the people lived just like you and I in 72 A.D. but the best of all was the reinactment of the volcano eruption, It was amazing I know you will be awaed by it plan to see this and...continued

I enjoyed the exhibit and learned a lot about Pompeii. The introductory videos were entertaining, but I wish they contained more information.

We are adults w/ no kids and our only option was to go at 10:30am on a week day. Holy cow, I almost went deaf, from all the kids screaming and running around. The only quiet sanctuary we could find was the Nat Geo World's 50 Greatest photograph...continued

Franklin Institute was very fun for the kids. A few interesting things for the adults too. Disappointed that some of the displays were not in working order. The Pompeii exhibit was well laid-out. However, I would have liked to see a better...continued

I really enjoyed it! It is very interesting to see these artifacts from that time (if only they could talk). Also, it is very fascinating to see the sophistication of the Roman Empire in their lifestyles from architecture, medicine, engineering to...continued

I'll make this short. The exhibit itself was fine, my issue is with the Franklin Institute. They did not allow you to take pictures. Which I wouldn't of had a problem with if they had an exhibit full of actual artifacts. Most where and I was...continued

My husband and I just came back from Italy and visited Pompeii, so I thought it would be nice to visit this exhibit. I loved it! It was nice visiting the real place, but this exhibit put in all in perspective. I learned a lot more at this...continued

My husband and I went to the Franklin Institute to see the Pompeii exhibit on a Friday afternoon. The exhibit was wonderful, moving and educational. The museum, however, was teeming with school children, many of whom were badly behaved, rude, loud...continued

Too many unsupervised children/school groups allowed into the exhibit at once. Very little staff keeping order. Unable to look and enjoy between the mobs of 8 year olds running amuck.

Very informative - learned a lot about Roman houses. Descriptions that accompanied the artifacts in the exhibit were well done. Makes me want to go and visit Pompeii.
