Tony Award winner for Best Play of 2013, Christopher Durang's Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike sends up the classic dramas of Anton Chekhov with an absurdist tale of familial dysfunction. But, you don't have to be a Cherry Orchard scholar to appreciate this zany farce, which the Associated Press called "utterly refreshing." Vanya and his sister Sonia live a quiet life in the Bucks County farmhouse where they grew up. When their movie star sister, Masha, returns home unannounced with Spike, her 20-something boy toy, an unforgettable weekend ensues. Learn More

This was a very interesting play with many conflicting story lines going on at one time. If you have experience in working with the deaf, which I do, you will undoubtedly see the plot one way and if you don't, and are just enjoying a night art the theater, it can take a different spin altogether. The set is awesome, the actors are committed, and this in combination equals a well done endeavor.
