In their seven years of marriage, Hamel has forbidden his wife Dotty to leave their tiny apartment -- but otherwise, life is absolutely perfect! Dotty is content spending her days watching video re-enactments of the day the couple first met until a phone call from a mysterious woman threatens to turn her entire world upside-down. Now she must venture out into the vast city of Sterno to try and discover what it means to be a "real" woman. A highly original coming-of-age play set in an Alice in Wonderland-style world, Out of Sterno explores the triumph and heartbreak of growing up and the often contradictory societal pressures women face just trying to make it across town. We absolutely loved it! The play was fun, funny, entertaining, shocking, and suspensful. We were still smiling when we left. There was not a bad seat in the theatre. And, the volunteers were very nice and pleasant. I would definately attend an event again.

Murder at the Orient Burlesque
by Carol M. Rice, directed by Mikey Abrams
When Russian princess Katherina Anastasia Faberge Antoinette joins the cast of the burlesque at Christie's Orient Palace, the trouble begins, so it's not a surprise when she turns up dead after only one performance.
As Detective Red Flannegan quickly discovers, everyone has a motive, and the Czarina was not only shot, but poisoned, stabbed, electrocuted and strangled. The question then becomes not who did it, but who did what, and is there anyone who didn't?
A riotous comedy by Rover's Artistic Director and the author of our Around the World in 80 Days.
