Each vendor will display their best mini-cupcakes for you to taste and judge--and finally put to rest who has the best cupcakes in L.A. The event will also feature a dozen wines and savories to cleanse the palate.

I drove two hours to attend this event and despite the heat and swarms of people I really enjoyed myself. We got there just in time to get a spot on a couch for the afternoon tasting experience and took turns sampling and sharing thoughts!! We had a great time, I would love more events like these!! My very favorite was Vanilla Bake Shop.

I would suggest at this event or similar events in the future, a list be handed out to those in attendance, listing all the bakeries participating and all their offerings. It will make it easier to remember who was what and what to vote for after consuming SO many cupcakes in a short time.

Getting to sample dozens of cupcakes was a dream come true! I agree with other's comments that the ballot and seating arrangements could have been much better. Still, it was a unique and fun experience.

The event is part of a summer series of events produced by Drink:Eat:Play which will also include “Dessert Decadence”, “Gourmet Five Year Old Party”, “Around the World in 80 Sips” and the “LA BBQ Festival."</p> <p>The event will also feature a dozen wines and savories to cleanse the palate. </p>
