Hosted by the Pomona Fairgrounds, the American Roller Skating Derby was loads of fun!!! It was WWF wrestling on Roller Skates!!! It was fun to watch the announcer get "chased" by a rather burly female skater into the men's bathroom, entertaining to watch the team's coach get ejected from the game. Very wholesome entertainment - w/ margaritas that were decently priced - for family and friends. Skaters are audience friendly and will sign autographs and take pictures at the end of the match. Good times!
A lot of fun. I'd recommend getting there 30min early to get your pick of seats. If you enjoy wrestling entertainment or soap operas, you will love roller derby.
We went back again and LOVED the co-ed derby.My son said "AWESOME and WILD". Very inexpensive for our family. Hot Dogs to die for.

The American Roller Skating Derby is proud to announce that the Los Angeles FireBirds have chosen the Pomona FairPlex as their home base. The Los Angeles FireBirds will face other top ARSD teams, such as the Chicago Pioneers, Eastern Chiefs, the Orlando Thunder, the World Champion Jim Fitzpatrick's San Francisco Bay Bombers and Mizz Georgia Hase's Brooklyn Red Devils.

Tony Trujillo, Patsy Delgado, Ray Robles, Raymond Rose, Vicki McEwen, Sweet Stephanie, "Wild Man" Dave Marez Gina Valladares Dave Martinez, Darryl Davis, Mary Ann Carr, Brian Robles, Megan Martinez, Debbie Van Doren, Lory Weikel, Mike Flaningam, Marnie Smith DJ Jackson, Janet Rovang and "IceBox", along with many more great derby stars along with some of the best new banked track skaters in the world.
