The life of legendary Native American jazz saxophonist, composer, and singer Jim Pepper comes to the stage in this new musical, which charts his ground-breaking career as a solo artist and band leader. Cochise Anderson stars as Pepper, the jazz fusion pioneer who turned an ancient peyote chant he learned from his grandfather into the 1969 single "Witchi Tai To," the only hit in the history of the Billboard pop charts to feature an authentic Native American chant. He went on to record what's considered the first disc of "American Indian jazz," the acclaimed Comin' and Goin', in 1983. Learn More

No more wire hangers----ever. Every Holiday season has one or two
'go for the pure enjoyment---not great theater. Tuna Christmas, for example. The actor, who looks exactly like Eve Arden from profile,
and nothing like Joan (a different wig would help) is o.k., one of the
supporting players is better -- simply more 'there' on stage. Overall,
a go-see rating is deserved, not a must see.
