Set in imperial Russia and based on the epic novel by Leo Tolstoy, Anna Karenina follows the tragic journey of the title character. When Anna's husband refuses to release her from their marriage to pursue her love for Count Vronsky, the wheels are set in motion for the ultimate sacrifice. This world premiere adaptation from McKeon, adapter of Snow Falling on Cedars, was an audience favorite at the 2011 JAW Playwright's Festival.

The play was absolutely fantastic. I had not read the book, but read extensive summaries, which really helped in following the plot, themes and storyline. A truly enjoyable evening of entertainment.
