Now in its 90th season, the Portland Youth Philharmonic provides the perfect way to get kids ages 2-8 off on the right musical foot with a fun, interactive Cushion Concert. Bring some fluffy pillows to sit on and enjoy a 45-minute performance by the acclaimed organization's Young String Ensemble in an indoor area at the Oregon Zoo. Before the show starts, the little ones will have the chance to get up-close-and-personal with the violins, cellos and other string instruments, which may even inspire them to pick up a bow themselves.
