Good grief! Have you ever wondered what happened to the gang of kids from Peanuts? Bert V. Royal's Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead is an irreverent and poignant unauthorized parody in which the beloved comic strip characters are reimagined a decade later as hormonal teenagers with serious issues. CB and the gang no longer worry about rained-out baseball games, homework assignments or Christmas plays. Instead, they face decidedly more grown up issues like drug use, eating disorders, sexual identity and bullying. From the moment the play opens, you know this story is going to turn familiar childhood tropes on their heads. Learn More

Very well-written play with lots of dramatic tension and touching scenes. The acting was superb; energetic, lively actors developed fully realized characters. My only quibble was that the probably wooden articulated snakes did not look realistic-other than that, this fully earns my five stars.
