Two of Portland's finest young musicians release their new albums during this show at the Alberta Rose Theatre. Matt Brown's music career began after graduating from Seattle University in 2007. Although his degree was in finance, he followed his musical passion, relocating to Portland and starting the band Ruby Hill. The band has released two albums and played at some of the best area venues, but Finish Lines is Brown's first solo endeavor, full of warm material with blues and soul influences. Justin Klump's Come to the River is full of personal lyrics drawn out over lush melodies and lovely acoustic guitar playing. Klump has toured throughout the United States and has several releases to his name.
