Perhaps best known in the U.S. for his hit song "Four Strong Winds," which was voted Canada's No. 1 song of the 20th century and made world-famous by Neil Young, Tyson turned 80 in September 2013, but his energy remains undimmed. Since 2000, he's released five albums, filmed a music documentary, penned a bestselling autobiography -- all while taking care of his working ranch in southern Alberta. Join this legendary singer-songwriter as he reflects on a five-decade musical career that's produced some of the most beloved cowboy songs of the modern era. Learn More
Singer/songwriter Anne Feeney returns to performing on June 30, 2012, launching the Hard Travelin’ Tour appearing with Mark Ross and Adam Moss. The tour will take them from Santa Cruz to Portland and back, with 19 performances in 17 cities over 20 days, spanning more than 3,000 miles.
The tour is in tribute to the life and times of iconic American folksinger, Woody Guthrie, whose inspirational work includes the song, “Hard Travelin’.” Guthrie would have turned 100 years old this year had he not succumbed to Huntington’s Chorea in 1967. The show features many songs from Woody’s repertoire, and songs that Woody would have liked – performed by Anne Feeney and Mark Ross, who have been continuing Woody’s work throughout their careers. There are celebrations featuring Guthrie’s music planned across the nation in honor of his life.
