Dickens' timeless holiday fave undergoes a radically entertaining remaking courtesy of the famed Wanderlust Circus and quirky local chamber-music ensemble 3 Leg Torso. Acrobats, aerialists, jugglers, jazz-bos, crooners and clowns combine to create a completely new take on the Scrooge story, though the cranky old gent still learns the true meaning of Christmas. The score is provided by 3 Leg Torso, formerly a trio and now a quintet. Their wholly original sound is an eclectic mix of classical, tango, klezmer, Latin and world music, and their well-known fans range from Penn & Teller's Teller to director Morgan Spurlock (Supersize Me).
