Three renowned choreographers contribute new dances for Northwest Dance Project's Spring Premieres performance. The company will perform a work from NWDP's award-winning Artistic Director Sarah Slipper, who Dance International Magazine said is "changing the way dance is created." To date, she has choreographed 30 original works that have been performed from Portland to Moscow. Slipper is Portland's most gifted and accomplished choreographer and knows how to mine the very best from her classically trained yet dynamic and fearless company. Then, revel in the artistry of one of France's most acclaimed and accomplished choreographers, Patrick Delcroix. He performed with Nederlands Dans Theater for 17 years and was assistant to the legendary Jirí Kylián. The third world premiere comes from Chinese-born Wen Wei Wang, considered one of Canada's top choreographers.

A Year With Frog and Toad: Musical Inspired by Beloved Books

Full Price:
$24.00 - $28.00
Our Price:
$12.00 - $14.00

When Arnold Lobel's classic Frog and Toad books were first adapted for the Broadway stage, the resulting A Year With Frog and Toad was a cross-over hit, snagging three Tony nods in 2003 -- a rarity for a "kids" show. But the poignancy behind the tales of Frog (friendly, relaxed) and Toad (serious, irritable) appeals to children of all ages. A Year With Frog and Toad follows the two friends as they adventure through the seasons: sledding down snowy hills, planting spring flowers, splashing in summer swimming holes and piling autumn leaves. Oregon Children's Theatre presents this vaudeville-style variety show full of fun and whimsy. Watch Frog and Toad, the ultimate song-and-dance amphibians, as they not only sing and dance, but juggle, spin plates and much, much more. Learn More

Brilliant dancing and brilliant choreography. Conjugations was one of the most exciting dances pieces I have seen. The dance corps is deserving of all the praise and prizes.
