Sans Merci examines the lives of college students Kelly and Tracy, who get involved in a dangerous humanitarian mission to South America. While helping the U'wa Indians in Colombia, the ladies are brutally attacked by revolutionaries, leaving Kelly crippled and Tracy dead. Years later, Kelly meets Tracy's mother, and both of them must deal with the grief and truth of what happened during that ill-fated mission. This powerfully cathartic drama addresses rape, homophobia and the silencing of women through an unapologetic, honest script. Johnna Adams' play premiered in 2008, winning the Bloomington Playwrights Project's Reva Shiner Award. Learn More

We found the play SubUrbia fabulous..............intense play for sure but budding student actors made this play exceptionally professional and enjoyable. Will go back to this theatre again if and when the opportunity presents itself.
