Pink Martini provides a little party music for OBT 25, Oregon Ballet Theatre's dynamic celebration of their 25th anniversary. With a program that can only described as an embarrassment of riches, OBT will perform George Balanchine's thrillingly athletic Agon as well excerpts from three choreographers who have profoundly influenced OBT: Christopher Stowell (artistic director 2003-2012), Trey McIntyre (resident choreographer, 1997-1999) and James Canfield (founding artistic director). Topping off this thrilling collection of pieces is a collaboration between the iconic Portland ensemble Pink Martini and choreographer Nicolo Fonte. Revealing new facets of both groups, the work will feature the "little orchestra" playing their iconic songs -- and brand new material -- live on stage with the dancers. Learn More
