"Short and bittersweet" could be the theme of this festival showcasing nine of the short plays and memoirs of the great Sam Shepard. One of America's most talented and popular playwrights of the past five decades -- and a great actor as well -- he won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and was nominated for an Oscar as an actor. Over two programs (each ticketed separately), six directors will present nine of Shepard's works, each backed by live music from a different band each night. The plays scheduled to be presented in Series A are The War in Heaven, The Curse of the Raven's Black Feather, Hail from Nowhere, Just Space, Rhythm and Evanescence, or Shakespeare in the Alley. Series B will include Savage/Love, Tongues and Cowboys #2. Learn More
