Buddy, Ritchie and the Big Bopper: '50s Tribute Concert
It's known as the night the music died -- when rock-and-roll legends Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and J.P. "The Big Bopper" Richardson perished in a 1959 plane crash after a tour stop in Iowa. Now the stars of the national Broadway tour of The Buddy Holly Story, Todd Meredith and The Rave-Ons, pay tribute to the star-studded trio by recreating one of their last high-energy concerts. You'll hear famed Holly hits like "That'll Be the Day" "Peggy Sue," "Maybe Baby" and more, along with those from Valens ("La Bamba") and Richardson, who gained fame for his recording of "Chantilly Lace."
