Moon Over Buffalo: Fast-Paced & Funny Backstage Farce
- Full Price:
- $27.00
- Our Price:
- $13.50
In this fast-paced farce set in Buffalo in 1953, a husband-and-wife acting team with a crumbling marriage try to keep their company together long enough to allow famed director Frank Capra to see their repertory ensemble perform, in hopes he'll cast the duo in his new film. But between a pregnant ingénue, a drunk leading man and a surprise visit from their daughter, things quickly go horribly and comically wrong. Moon Over Buffalo starred Carol Burnett and Philip Bosco on Broadway, running for more than 300 performances, and was written by Tony-nominated writer Ken Ludwig, who also created the hit comedy Lend Me a Tenor. view more less of this reviewA fantastic play with a wonderful cast. Actors were strong in their roles and the leads were amazing. I have nothing but praise for this hilarious show.

star this review starred report as inappropriateThis play is a real tour de force of acting abilities. I still can't believe that Salieri and Mozart had so much script, and executed it so well. Mozart is a strong actor, with a very emotional part. The play is 2 hours and 45 minutes long, so be prepared for a long evening.
