Popular Bay Area pianist Ricardo Scales pays tribute to famous composers and artists, with help from violinists Byrne and Harriet Newhart. Scales has not only performed for five different U.S. presidents, but he's also shared the stage with many of music's greatest talents, including fellow piano men Billy Joel and Harry Connick Jr., singers Liza Minnelli, Nancy Wilson and Joe Cocker, and hit groups the Commodores, Spyro Gyra and many more. This dynamic performer is known for his genre-busting skills, with an impressive command of styles that range from jazz, gospel, funk and R&B to classical. The Newharts head up the Starlite Strings, a 13-piece strolling violin orchestra that's long been a staple at special events. They'll join Scales in saluting your favorite stars. Learn More

This was one magical evening of great wholesome entertainment. I know Jeff Applebaum, who played Joey Bishop, and he told me about this show at Angelica's Bistro. I took my wife and we both enjoyed the antics, comedy, banter and wonderful songs by all, including a great number by Jeff! Who knew he had a great voice! Matt Helm who played Dean Martin, looked like him and really had the mannerisms and nuances of his character down pat. It was a sold out night at Angelica's, where I have been many times before; my wife and I came early and had dinner and they sat us with another couple who we hit it off with and also sat us with Jonathan Porez, who also had sung Sinatra songs at venues like the Rrazz Room at the Hotel Nikko in SF. I would highly recommend to everyone, young and old, to go see the Rat Pack when they come to a venue near you.
