Dress in layers. The weather is unpredictable and the temp drops at night.

Parked at one one of the raceway parking lots and the tram helped with the walk.

Always a great time at Richmond, even with the less than stellar weather.

I would love to put 5 stars but I have to admit that NASCAR ended up not being my thing so I could only give it 4 stars. I think if I was a NASCAR fan I'd probably give it 5. The tailgating experience was fantastic, even if the weather was awful. Plenty of port-a-potties and if you were patient and kept walking you could definitely find some with NO LINE! Who doesn't love that?! The bathrooms in the facility were also up to par...though I wish there was heating in the bathrooms!
