One of the greatest American musicals ever written, The Music Man is fun for audiences of all ages. The story centers around lovable swindler "Professor" Harold Hill, who attempts to pull a con on the citizens of River City with his fast-talking style. In order to part the hard-working citizens from their money, Hill pretends that he will save the town's youth from the sin and corruption of the pool hall by selling them instruments and helping to organize a boys' band, despite the fact that he secretly knows nothing about music. The Music Man contains a number of show tune favorites, including "Seventy-Six Trombones," "(Ya Got) Trouble," "Till There Was You" and "Goodnight, My Someone." Learn More

I love the Finnish Temperance Hall venue -- not just because it's close to home, but because they always have fun and interesting stage productions there. A group of 5 women in readers theatre gave us an overview of experienced from different perspectives, different stages of life, love, and loss. Well played and delivered. Looking forward to more wonderful productions in this venue.
Age Recommendation: The show deals with a variety of life events including sexuality, death and illness and is most appropriate for those 18 and older.
