The conductor, orchestra and pianist were phenomenal. Being there was a joy for the first half, which included Gluck's Overture to Iphigenia in Aulis and Schumann's Piano Concerto. Pianist Alon Goldstein was mesmerizing. The second half of the program, Mahler's Symphony No. 4, was a challange with long and difficult listening. Overall, an enjoyable evening.
The Center's numerous cultural, musical, visual, performing and literary arts programs and events comprise the Gildenhorn/ Speisman Center for the Arts (GSCA).
