Kevin “Dot Com” Brown can be seen each week on NBC’s Emmy Award-winning comedy series 30 Rock. “Dot Com” co-stars opposite Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin and Tracy Morgan. Dot Com is approaching his sixth season as a cast member on this critically acclaimed show. On 30 Rock, Dot Com plays the bodyguard/best friend and entourage of the eccentric Tracy Jordan, portrayed by Tracy Morgan. The series takes place behind the scenes of a fictional live sketch comedy series depicted as airing on NBC; the name 30 Rock refers to the address of the GE Building where NBC Studios is located, 30 Rockefeller Plaza.
Kevin “Dot Com” Brown has been a triple-threat in Entertainment for over 20 years. As a businessman, he and his brother Andre created and produced_ The Uptown Comedy Club_ on the FOX 5 network), which ran for four seasons. Their live creation, The Uptown Comedy Club, located in the heart of Harlem on 125th St., grew to become the most successful comedy club in the country in the late ’80s and early ’90s.
Kevin is also responsible for managing and teaching some of today’s most successful comedians (all Uptown Comedy Club alumni): JB Smoove of Curb Your Enthusiasm_, Flex Alexander of UPN’s One on One _and Tracy Morgan of NBC’s 30 Rock, just to name a few.
Kevin “Dot Com” Brown was featured on Late Night with Conan O’Brien_, MTV’s Human Giant,_ NBC’s Last Comic Standing and BET’s _Comic View _just to name a few. Most recently, Dot Com has appeared at Ha, Carolines, The World Famous Apollo Theater, Radio City Music Hall (opening up for Patti LaBelle), BB King’s in NYC (opening up for the legendary soul singer Al Green) and numerous facilities across the U.S. and abroad.
