The Real (Funny) Housewives of Rio Linda is a wild -- and occasionally raunchy -- stand-up comedy show featuring five funny ladies: Kristen Frisk, Stephanie Garcia, Kimmie Kay, Sinderella and Cheryl the Soccer Mom. Having toured throughout California, each veteran comedian brings her own unique perspective to the stage, from the outrageous, high-energy Kimmie Kay to the seemingly demure (but hilariously foul-mouthed) Cheryl the Soccer Mom. For one night only, The Real (Funny) Housewives of Rio Linda bring their show to the Punch Line Sacramento for an evening of five-is-better-than-one comedy. Learn More
David Studebaker is the winner of the 2009 STC Young Comics Competition, finalist in 4 Bay Area-wide stand up competitions, and a “critic’s choice” in the North Bay Bohemian. His work beyond stand up includes The Big Bris, a Remi-Award winning 20 minute short that has been featured at film festivals all over the country, including: LA Comedy Film Festival, Palm Beach Int’l Film Festival, and The Breckenridge Festival of Film.
Ellis Rodriguez spent his early twenties serving in the United States Marine Corps, but found his true calling when he picked up a mic. His commanding presence, charming personality and hilarious material make him one of the best up and coming comics today. He is a favorite at comedy clubs across the West Coast including the Improv, Laughs Unlimited, Tommy T’s, PepperBelly’s, and the Laugh Factory. This Latino former Marine is smart and charismatic, and always full of surprises. An energetic performer, his comedy is appealing to any comedy audience.
