It's the Northern California premiere of It's a Wonderful Life -- The Musical, based on the Frank Capra/Jimmy Stewart film we all know and love. True to the original story and filled with the same warmth and humor, this live version brings extra energy and spirit with its powerful score. Alone and in anguish one night on a bridge that overlooks his beloved Bedford Falls, George Bailey has convinced himself that his life and his work have been for nothing. Can the small victories and common decency of one man change an entire town? George will find out when he's visited by a guardian angel who'll show him what life would have been like without him. Worth every dime! The play is truly a classic and will forever live on. The actors did an excellent job in potraying the characters. A very well done story and plot. I'll definitely be watching future plays/shows at the Sacramento Theatre Company.

My 11 year old son and I went to a matinee and we both had a wonderful experience! The show was completely absorbing. The acting, English accents, costumes and set were excellent. The show went beyond our expectations. I highly recommend!
Tony Wendice has devised the perfect crime. With a lot of planning, a solid alibi and a bit of blackmail, he’s sure to make a fortune. All he has to do is kill his wife. But when his scheme goes disastrously wrong, he finds himself in a suspenseful game of cat and mouse to stay one step ahead of a determined police detective and a suspicious mystery writer out to uncover the truth.
Staring Matt K. Miller (A Christmas Carol) as Tony Wendice and Jackie Vanderbeck (The Belle of Amherst) as his wife, Dial “M” For Murder continues STC’s season of "Mystery, Music and Mayhem" and is directed by Greg Alexander. Originally premiering on the London stage in 1952 and later filmed by the master of suspense Alfred Hitchcock, Dial “M” For Murder is a classic thriller that has it all – fear, jealousy, greed, vengeance, and good old fashioned romance.
