Punch Line Comedy Club welcomes Pundits With Punchlines, the long-running hit comedy showcase featuring Indian and South Asian comedians. Founding comedian Tapan Trivedi, who's been seen on Russell Peters' Comics Without Borders Showtime special, is joined by some of the Bay Area's most popular local comics, including Kabir "Kabeezy" Singh, Samson Koletkar and Shanti Charan. Singh has played every major comedy club in California, and recently completed a British tour. Samson Koletkar, the world's only Indian-American Jewish comedian, is a part of three national comedy tours. Charan was the winner of the 2011 Bay Area Stand Up Comedy Competition, and was named a "comic to watch" by SF Weekly in 2012. Learn More

I had a great time. Besides the male MC, there were 3 men and 2 women comedians. I thought that 2 of the 3 men were rather raunchy. The third man could figure out how to be very funny without the raunchy comments. And he was VERY funny. The women were also very funny. One was a "trannie" who was really quite a looker; she had a different angle on humor and was also VERY funny.

It would have been better if we didn't have a bunch of people visiting during a lot of the performances. The back up comics were ok, the headliner was GREAT.
