The jolly old elf himself temporarily trades his sleigh for a Hornblower yacht, where the entire family can join him on board for a cup of hot cocoa and a cookie, and get themed activity sheets for the kids. Not only will you catch a glimpse of Santa, but you'll also see where the American and Sacramento Rivers meet on this one-hour cruise, so you can check out the wildlife along the water as well. Make sure to bring your camera to catch shots of both the natural beauty and your kids posing with the Man in Red. Learn More

The cruise ok, the food was so, so. I had the haddock and it was tasty, but the lentil puree was over salted. The music was fun, but not fabulous. The wait staff was great, but I felt like they were pumping us for tips all night long. The ship was a bit worn and funky, but pleasant. I'm glad we didnt pay full price for this, as it was just barely worth what we paid which was half price. I would not recommend it to others.
Set against the historic Sacramento River, the Sacramento Silver Bells Dinner Cruise includes a four-course meal, accompanied by live entertainment and dancing.
The seasonal menu, prepared on board, includes a choice of four entrees. A wine list, heavy with local California labels and cocktails are available to enjoy before or during your meal.
Delight in a delicious dessert as the cruise concludes and marvel at the beautiful skyline only experienced when you dine on a Hornblower Cruise.
