December 31, 2013: The show is followed by a champagne toast at midnight, and dancing until 1:30am.
Sam Bam has been a comedian for as long as he could remember. Hailing from Stockton, California, Sam had experienced the usual ups and downs as a teenager trying to make it out of the hood. "I was always a good story teller, one day I just decided to give it a shot and tried stand up." His decision to take on comedy was the right one. Starting off in a little room in San Francisco to being seen nationally on television on BET's Comic View, Sam has made strides in the right direction and continues to never lose sight of the reason why he does comedy.
"To take people away from all the misery, pain, and problems they have in the time I have on stage feeds me. It gives me crazy energy to be able to put a smile on people's faces and make their belly's ache." When you see Sam Bam on stage it's as if you're watching an action/comedy/improv explosion. His animated body language along with his funny and relatable stories only intensifies the laughter. Sam Bam explains, "I love to talk about the types of things all of us do, but are afraid to put out there, you laugh because you realize it wasn't funny then, but it's funny now."
Not only does Sam perform as a comedian, he is also an accomplished event producer. He has produced shows that have brought thousands together and also has gained local media attention. He continues to produce shows and is set to do it big.
