In one of the latest works by Pulitzer Prize-winning David Mamet (American Buffalo, Glengarry Glen Ross), two attorneys are charged with defending a white man accused of raping an African-American woman. In the face of unraveling evidence, the lawyers' own uncomfortable beliefs about race rise to the surface. Director James Wheatley tackles Mamet's rat-a-tat language and sharp jabs in this confrontational comedy that skewers modern-day "polite" society. Race premiered on Broadway in 2009 starring James Spader and David Alan Grier. Learn More

I read the book last year and had trouble following the story. But seeing the play performed LIVE helped me understand the characters and their relationship with each other. All the actors did a fantastic job!! I would definitely recommend this play.
Due to mature content, this show is not recommended for anyone under the age of 18.
