The band did a great job and we'd give them a nine out of ten rating.
The location, OC Tavern in SC wasn't as good. I'd give it a two or three.
The place they had the music in was a room off the bar and it had almost no place to sit down. Most of the people who attended had to stand during the entire show. OK for young folks but this fact should be mentioned so that anyone who can't stand for two hours knows what they are getting in to.
Also in the room it was too loud like most of these tribute bands are. You had to yell at the person next to you if you wanted to talk to them.
We actually had to go outside a small patio area near the stage and sit there in order not to have our brains scrambled any more that it was.
I wish the location and or the set up was a little better because the band was great.
I've never been to a concert where 95% of the people attending have to stand for the entire event. This lack of seating was not communicated beforehand. Plus the volume level was so extremely high--way beyond the human ear's ability to handle--that we could not hear the songs, vocals, melody. It was a high volume mesh of distorted sounds (and I've worked in radio and the recording industry for 20 years). We had to go outside in order to hear the music. I was embarrassed for my 5 guests. Needless to say, I will never go to the OC Tavern again, ever!
Formed in 2004, Queen Nation is a phenomenal, authentic recreation of one of the most legendary rock bands of all time. Vocalist Joe Retta's stage mannerisms and incredible vocal range enable him to impersonate the late Freddie Mercury. The entire band is made up of pure Queen aficionados and the show is truly amazing. Based in Los Angeles, Queen Nation has played to thousands of awe-struck Queen fans who sing along to every song!
