One of the most beloved children's books of all time makes its way to the stage in the musical The Secret Garden. On a windswept moor in a lonely old house, a grieving widower and his sickly son spend their days lonely and lost, haunted by the ghosts of departed loved ones. Enter Mary, a sour young orphan who has lost her family to cholera and come to live with her uncle. She discovers a locked garden that's been left to grow wild and uncared for -- much like Mary herself. Her quest to find the key and restore the garden uncovers startling secrets and a family tragedy. With the help of her new friend Dickon and her cousin Colin, Mary brings new life to the garden and to her grief-stricken uncle. Presented by the award-winning California Youth Conservatory Theatre and directed by Shaun T. Evans, this magical musical is the perfect vehicle for CYC's cast of talented young actors and seasoned professionals. Enhanced by a beautiful and powerful score performed by a live orchestra, the musical version of this beloved story is a delight for audiences of all ages. Learn More

Follies is taking a Trip into yesteryear!
CCT is pulling out all the stops for its 4th Annual Senior Follies as we take the show downtown to the historic Balboa Theater. Come join us as we take a musical journey to your high school reunion. If you graduated during the 30s, 40s, 50s or 60s, then you will remember all the crazy times at your high school dances, proms, cheerleaders, football games, choirs and glee clubs. It was a time when music was singable and understandable.
You won't want to miss any of the eras from the Raccoon Coats, flapper girls and singing the "Varsity Drag" to the Big Band era with such memorable swing music by Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman and Glenn Miller. All the high school kids were listening to the radio and the Billboard hits of the 40s and 50s with legendary music of the Mills Brothers, Perry Como and Nat King Cole. The early 60s high school kids were running home after school to watch American Bandstand with music classics as The Lettermen, The 4 Seasons and, of course, The Beatles. Come join the fun in San Diego's biggest tribute to seniors at CCT's Senior Follies.
