Enjoy an evening of Latin American music full of swagger and drama. Maria Guinand, the noted Venezuelan choral conductor, will be conducting Osvaldo Golijov's Oceana, inspired by the poetry of Pablo Neruda, and Heitor Villa-Lobos' Chôros No. 10, based on Brazilian street musicians. The concert will also feature the West Coast premiere of Intrada 1631, based on 17th-century Peruvian chants, and Argentine composer Alberto Ginastera's Malambo. The night offers a veritable tour of Latin America through its various music styles, all of which are invigorating and inspiring. Learn More

While it was still a fun event, it was super crowded, even during the VIP hour. There was basically no signage whatsoever to indicate what beers were where, so you had to just get in random lines hoping there might be something you liked when you got to the front. No food whatsoever either. Seems like Bassmnt is just the wrong venue for a beer fest of any sort.
VIP Ticket includes: Early Admission at 5:00pm, a separate VIP line and access to the rare beer table between 5:00pm-6:00pm.
Event ends at 9:00pm.
