- Our Price:

The San Francisco Symphony, under the baton of conductor Kirill Karabits, spotlights violinist Alexander Barantschik and violist Jonathan Vinocour for a performance of Benjamin Britten's Double Concerto. Written as a tribute for Britten's composition teacher when the composer was just 18, the Double Concerto is a challenging piece that requires immense technical skill on both the violin and viola. Its youthful vigor is sure to challenge the virtuosity of the Symphony's Concertmaster and Principal Violist. The program also features Honegger's Pacific 231 and Sibelius' Symphony No. 2. Learn More

Written on May 29 2012The Dave Brubeck, piece coupled with Ansel Adams slides, was an extraordinary collaboration of two American icons. Horacio Gutierrez was, as expected, masterful and poetic, in his performance of Rachmaninoff's 2nd Piano Concerto.
Written on May 28 2012Lovely program and I appreciate the good seats we received from Goldstar.

Written on May 28 2012Going to the symphony is always fabulous. So being able to sit in the Grand Tier was very special at half the price. The experience was just as Goldstar said it would be.
Written on May 28 2012This was a symphony with a piano concerto. It was wonderful. Symphony played solely first and then second half was piano. Well worth the expense.
