Drinks are high priced (as expected), small soda about $5. No ice tea or coffee. Food was ok and enough to fill up on.

The weather was It was a sunny summer day (late June), it was very warm on the boat - the third floor was the only one with air conditioning it initially, after the first 45 minutes or so the other floors started to cool down. No sweater/shirt needed, I think even if you were outside.the boat was very warm. I wore shorts/jeans, cotton shirt, sandles.

Description

Whale & Dolphin Watching Adventures are educational cruises and visual experiences for people who love sea birds, dolphins, sea lions, and whales. Whale migration season is December through April, when gray whales travel over 6,000 miles from the Arctic down to Baja California’s warm lagoons, where calves are born and can frequently be seen swimming at their mother’s side. The tour is conducted in educational partnership with the San Diego Natural History Museum.

The tour includes:

  • Professional narration on marine life from Hornblower’s expert captains.
  • Interactive presentations led by SDNHM Whalers.
  • Snack bars featuring hot food, full bar and souvenirs.
  • Climate-controlled indoor seating.
  • Views of sea lions plus famous San Diego landmarks.
