Food was exceptional.... thank goodness it was not your standard cheese cubes and cut veggies!

Not too dressy, though. Casual with a coat or sweater for a cool eventing on the water.

It was just as described. We cruised around the harbor, drank, and had wonderful hors d'oeuvres. Some were stationary, and others were served, which was nice. The music was nice also; a pretty good variety.

The only thing I would change is the horrible sound system. Although we could hear the music pretty well, whe the captain was trying to explain safety rules, too bad no one could understand him.

Other than that, we had a blast and I would definitely go again!

A wonderful and magical cruise! The ship, High Spirits, is beautiful. The food was delicious and plentiful. The serving staff were friendly and fun. Seeing the San Diego Bay at sunset and then all the holiday lights sparkling in the twilight, a new moon and all the beautiful reflections on the water made this a perfect holiday celebration with our friends. We hope to do this again next year, perhaps making it one of our annual holiday traditions.

Four of us went on this event and we all had a wonderful time. The evening was delightful. One could not have had better weather if we had planned it. The boat was slightly small, but very intimate and the food was delicious. We enjoyed the food being brought around to the tables as well. Seeing the lights of downtown San Diego and the Hotel Del from the bay were highlights and made for a very special and festive evening. We are looking forward to attending this event again next year. This is what makes San Diego such a wonderful place to enjoy the Holiday Season. The boat crew were also very friendly and helpful as well. Thanks again for hosting such a wonderful trip

Floating happy hour is an appropriate name, except that there were no drink specials! The food was much better than expected, and there was plenty of it. I liked being welcomed with a glass of champagne and being free to wander around the whole ship (rather than having an assigned table on a dinner cruise). They played Christmas music and the views of the downtown skyline and holiday-lit Hotel Del were beautiful. A fun evening if you're looking for something a little different -- especially good for couples or small groups.

Four of us went on this cruise and we all agree that everything about this event was absolutely fantastic! The boat was classy and comfortable. The weather was clear and balmy... the holiday sights and lights from the bay and downtown were wonderful. The food was delicious and ample... plenty of vegetarian options (thank you!) everyone's favorite dish was the brie with apples.... and it was very nice touch having the servers bring the other appetizers around to us...

The only thing that could have been improved was the sound system... the music kept on starting and stopping....

Thank you to Goldstar for making this available.... We will definitely do this again next year... and we will invite more friends along... :-)

Very good. Appetizers were good. Suggest you put out the better ones on the table

Very lovely evening. As this was focused on holidays people were dressed in more holiday attire (coctail dresses and sports coat or dress shirt and tie), otherwise I would say work casual would be fine. The appitizers were excellent as was the service. Drink prices were about same as any restaurant in Gas Lamp. The view lovely. Great start to an evening.

I liked the cruise, even though it was pretty short. Glad i bought my tickets on Goldstar instead of paying full price for this cruise, cuz i did not think it would have been worth full price.
