It's December 1942, and New York's little-radio-station-that-could, WOV, is about to air its final broadcast of the holiday-themed Mutual Manhattan Variety Cavalcade. That's the setting for The 1940's Radio Hour, a timeless play full of classic tunes sung in four- and five-part harmony. With its dance routines, swinging music -- including "Ain't She Sweet," "Blue Moon," "You Go to My Head" and "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" -- and beloved cast of characters, Radio Hour is a perfect holiday treat. This play is really fun, especially for the great music with all new songs written especially for this show. The actresses are very talented with amazing voices. They were so good and many people could not believe they were actually singing song after song themselves. But they are! The theater is very small, every seat is good and you will enjoy this fun performance. Let's support small theater and get this great show to Broadway! Parking is easy at 5 star, one half block down on Tenth past the theater.

humble start at the P.T.A. talent show, then go on to "clean up" as the most celebrated, yet unlikely girl group in rock 'n roll history.
With a book by Hope Juber and Ellen Guylas and hilarious songs - like 'Be My Babysitter,' 'The Reynolds Rap' and 'Domestiphobia' - by composer/lyricist Juber and her husband, celebrated, two-time Grammy-winning guitarist Laurence Juber (Paul McCartney's Wings), get ready for the Divas of Domesticity.
