Named one of Rolling Stone's 50 Funniest People in 2013, comedian, writer and native New Yorker Michael Che is a star on the rise who makes jokes about everything from gentrification on the Lower East Side to the difference between being in love and being in like. He's parlayed his talent and smarts into a guest writing gig for Saturday Night Live and an appearance on Comedy Central's John Oliver's New York Stand-Up Show. Che has also appeared on Best Week Ever, Money from Strangers and Bunk, while traveling across the globe to participate in prestigious comedy festivals, including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Jacob Sirof was born and raised in San Francisco, California during the "Comedy Boom" of the 1980's. There were few places more booming than San Francisco, so nobody was too surprised when Jacob announced at an early age that he wanted to be a comedian when he grew up. Today, Jacob still hasn't grown up, although he is a comedian. As a young adult, he started doing stand-up in his hometown, and quickly joined the ranks of a promising young crop of local talent, which has since been dubbed "The New Wave" of San Francisco comedy.
In 2006, Jacob was selected to perform at the prestigious "Just For Laughs" comedy festival in Montreal, Canada, where he got very drunk and high with comedians and industry-types from all over the world. His television appearances include Live At Gotham on Comedy Central and Down and Dirty With Jim Norton on HBO. He has been featured in the San Francisco Chronicle, as well as the Hollywood Reporter, and performs across much of the known galaxy. Jacob currently resides in Santa Monica, California with his wife, fellow comic Sherry Sirof, and their daughter, Wynter Moon. He would like to do comedy for ever and ever, yet he is a mere mortal, and will most likely die someday.
Sherry Sirof was raised in a tiny little mountain town, near Yosemite National Park in Northern California. She eventually grew up, moved to San Francisco, and became a stand-up comedian. In her spare time, she makes humorous on-line videos, which many creepy people seem to feel are speaking to them directly. Sherry has been featured in Time Out New York and Businesweek for her efforts.
