The acting was outstanding. One of the finest performances we have encountered in live theatre. The entire cast did an excellent job of transporting the audience back to another time and place. The intriguing story was well told and the characters were rich in defination and emotion. A beautiful set design aided their effort. I would gladly see it again.

2 things marred this wonderful performance. The temperature inside the theatre at the start of the performance was very hot and 3 members of our party of 6 were so uncomfortable that they had to leave at intermission.
The ordor from the on-stage cigarettes was very objectionable. It did add realism but we probably could have done just fine without it. I felt bad for a lady sitting in front of us because she had to temporarily step out of the small theatre to get her coughing under control .

The play is presented in an intimate venue which affords every seat an excellent view. The characters are well played and the pace is brisk. The only suggestion I can make is for the cast to sing "Cielito Lindo" as the humming lacks the feeling that the rest of the production brings. The set is well designed and utilized, however sound and lighting could be enhanced with better coverage on the actors and placement of speakers on the beam over the stage for music and effects. On the whole, a great evening of theatre with our party very pleased with the production.
