view more less of this reviewMaria Bamford was very entertaining and original... although a bit low energy... which she later explained had to do with her having a cold. Her hair and clothing choices were disheveled in a Phyllis Diller sort of way.
We also enjoyed the other two comedians... I don't remember their names... and unfortunatley they are not listed on the American Comedy Club website.
star this review starred report as inappropriateI loved the emcee and the comedian that opened for Maria Bamford. No complaints there. Well there are really no complaints, the thing is you really have to understand Maria Bamford's style to not get turned off at the beginning. All in all, I had a great time but I think my friend, who did not know the style of this comedienne, was turned off at the beginning of the performance. Towards the end, having a little beer buzz going make the jokes all the more funnier!
