Set in the secret jungle of San Diego's own Balboa Park, this vibrant version of the Jungle Book brings action, adventure and magic to the stage. Adapted and directed by SDSU theater professor Margaret Larlham, the enthralling, physical production encourages humans and the natural world to work together for the benefit of all. Localizing the stories of Mowgli, Baloo, Bagheera, Shere Kahn and Kaa in San Diego reimagines Rudyard Kipling's fables in a familiar urban jungle surrounded by park, zoo and the freeways. Learn More

It is wonderful to see a production of a show that is almost 75 years old! And what a delight to hear all of the fabulous Rodgers and Hart songs in their original context! We had a great time, really appreciated the strong performances and went home singing much more than one tune from the show...something that doesn't happen very often with the latest Broadway musicals.
