California Ballet Company's annual production of The Nutcracker is the most highly attended in the county, with music from a live symphony and glittering sets and costumes. The Nutcracker is the story of Clara, a girl who's growing older and beginning to dream of romance. At the family Christmas party she receives a wooden nutcracker as a gift. That night in her dreams, she embarks on a grand adventure that begins with an epic battle between mice and toys and ends with a journey to the kingdom of sweets. Learn More

Peter Frampton still has it! It was a bit surreal - the last time I saw him perform was in 1975. I couldn't help but smile at the difference between the audience I remember from then and who attended with me this time! We were in the balcony but still it was a great show. BB King and band performed as well as Sonny Landreth. Well worth the trip. If you are a Frampton fan you won't be disappointed.
Peter Frampton is back on the road with Frampton’s Guitar Circus and will be making a stop at San Diego’s Civic Theatre! Highly praised slide guitarist Sonny Landreth will open the show, followed by a performance by the legendary B. B. King. Rounding out the evening, Peter Frampton will then take the stage for his solo segment.
