There are variety of restaurants in walking distance from the theatre. That night we chose Miguel's Cocina, 2444 San Diego Ave. We love the food and their fresh chips and homemade white queso dip is to die for. The theatre bar offers beer, wine, soda, snacks, and some adult mixed drinks.

There is public parking across from theatre. It's shared with the rest of Old Town. Arrive early since it might take awhile for a space to open.

I enjoyed the play and laughed loudly at several lines. The actors were all excellent, and I was amazed at the fight scene with pillows and objects flying.

This play was ok. The acting was really good and the sets were well done. I liked the concept of the play story, but I found it dragged a little, too much dialog and wasn't as funny as I'd hoped. There were two intermissions.

Description

One of the most flippant plays ever written. Elyot and Amanda, once married and now honeymooning with new spouses at the same hotel, meet by chance, reignite the old spark and impulsively elope. After days of being reunited, they again find their fiery romance alternating between passions of love and anger. Their aggrieved spouses appear and a roundelay of affiliations ensues as the women first stick together, then apart, and new partnerships are formed.
