A priest, a rabbi and a frog walk into a bar... Direct from New York comes the comedy inspired by the Old Jews Telling Jokes website. Created by Peter Gethers and Daniel Okrent, the show features five local actors performing a mix of monologues and songs that lovingly honor the timeless tradition of Jewish comedy by poking fun at it. Hilarious neuroses and tributes to comedy giants are put on full display. If you don't laugh, you're probably dead -- even if you've never had a Jewish mother, visited a doctor or eat kosher. What a wonderful evening we had! The cast are talented and energetic and highly entertaining. An hilarious and yet poignant experience. I would heartily recommend anyone seeing this excellent production. The performance of "It Must Be Him" was one of the funniest bits I remember seeing in a very long time--we were literally rolling in the isles.
